PRO,-xC'.f'1lx Qqn x'-9 f00TBAll Park School had a short season in football, but they won one game out of three. Park's first defeat was administered by Cincinnati Country Day, 39 to 0. In the next game, Park defeated Ohio Military Academy, 25 to 0. In the last game Glenwood School defeated Park, 40-0. Steve Cline iniured his leg in the third practice of the season, and was unable to play. This unfortunate accident weakened the team, and with the inexperienced, Park had a bad season. Jerry Slatin was voted the Reichel Award for the best mental attitude, and John DeVoe was named honorary captain. In the last game with Glenwood School, Steve DeVoe was sick and not able to play. That is not all that hap- pened. Jack Schwomeyer went out of the game with a fractured wrist, and George Downing was taken out after getting hit in the chest. Varsity letters were given to the following boys: Gerald Slatin, David Young, Samps McQuiston, Philip Whitesell, Ed. Hargitt, Charles Pollock, George Downing, Steve DeVoe, Dick McCrae, Jack Schwomeyer. Numerals were given to the following boys: Pete Wel- don, Melvin Issac, Steve Cline, Larry Folse, Reed Moistner. We must not forget the most important one of them all- the boy that takes care of all the dirty clothes and takes all the complaining from the boys. He may not be on the field working, but in his way he is working iust as hard as anyone else. Who else but John Esterline?
