Liiwis RONM' social year of the Senior Class of 19-110, for whom the Prom was given. lime 17, ia, and 20, 1940 The real climax to this year was Graduation Week during which we, as juniors, acted as ushers on Class Night, Graduation, and at Baccalaureate. Svpleintzer 6, 1940 llere we were. Seniors at lastl A little lrightened, perhaps, lay the taslcs ahead, but ready to tacltle anything. Our lirst project was the selection of a play and hold- ing try-outs. The play selected was Spring Fever, and it was directed lay Miss lflsie lvl. Clarlc. Svplemtvur 16, 19-10 The next vital prohlem to he talcen care of was election of class ollicers. Paul Neumann was re-elected president. Assisting him were Boli Shaw, viceepresidentg Janet Wilscwii, secretaryg and tid Beclt, treasurer. lmmediately after the voting was linished, Mrs. Mc- Keever announced the appointments to the lloot Stall.. Barbara Ann Geih was named editor, Ti Randall, assist- ant eclitor, and Louise Gottcsman, literary editor. November 7, 1940 Spring Fever. When the hnancial reports were in, we discovered that our play had had a larger attendance and had made more money than any play given in the school. November 21, 1940 + No history of our class could he complete without a record of the defeat of Vxfestwood at the hands of our lloothall team. This was a triumph long to he rememhered not only hy the lnoys who played in the game hut, also hy every senior laecause it was the last lqootliall game during our high school careers. April 3, 19-11 Senior Essays due1 After six weeks of research we got to work on Sunday and wrote for hours to get our essays in shape.
