Chu Wzopwq TIME: 8:00 P.M. May 28, 1976 PLACE: Radio City Theater, New York, New York This program is coming to you from channel 2X plus 1, sponsored by Carol Annette and Joyce Henry, makers of that wonderful odorless tasteless invisible energy packed break- fast food-Bezo invented by Barbara Bisek. Tonite we are bringing you the premiere of a new play writ- ten by the famous author Penni Kyllonen. It is produced by Ken Allen and directed by Jim Enfield. The musical score is by Betty Kurth and Chuck Farrell. From here we can see the crowds gathering anxiously await- ing the arrival of members of the class of 1956 who are having a reunion As we wander around we notice a new green Super Jet lust arriving as vie draw closer we see that it is Jerry Green and his wite the former Shirley Walsh The former Dorothy Buss is just arriving in her Japanese Rickshaw pulled by Bob McCollor who after twenty years is still trying to break the six minute mile It seems she and her director husband had an argument over the car The Cressel twins just arrived from Paris suddenly notice their iewels are missing and Jerry Barg the famous detective is called to the scene and soon the alleged thief Louie Collins is caught He at once summons his lawyer Bradley Johnson Several critics have arrived John Holmquist and Ray Bur lingame of the New York Times Wallace Vogtman and Leslie Weekly of the Park Rapids Enterprise Suddenly we hear the screeching of sirens as Arlene Peter sen pulls up in front with an escort of policemen She has been caught speeding but in view of the occasion the kind police men Miles Peterson Willard Parks Leonard Hemmerick and Donald Hearty let her go with a warning not to go 90 MPH in a 15 mile zone The doors are opened and we are ushered into the theater by Rodney Bethel and Ronald Billet As we are seated we glance at our programs and see that hair styling and make up artists are Dorothy Anderson Carole Tobias and Lorraine Rambo The lights are focused at the center of the stage where the Reverend Thomas Brown appears to greet the class of 56 and introduce some of its more prominent members First to be introduced are those famous comedians Larri Engel Mike Fowler and Nolan Hanson Next are those Hollywood stars Doris Christlieb Jeanette Cox Louise Dissmore and Marianne Moos who are with their leading men Dean Craft Chauncy Craig Glenn Crandall and John Eischens who gust recently finished the famous movie To Nevis and Back written by Ed Christolferson Darlene Bittman the clever scientist and her escort Bill Less man the wealthy argiculturist are the next to be presented Next are five of the most famous athletes of all time Laker star Jon Brakken Lightweight champion of the world Charles Buckanaga and his manager Steve Jones The Whitcomb broth ers Otis and Francis playing for the New York Yankees and their competitor, Dale Wilson, playing for the Brooklyn Dodg- ers. Suddenly out of the audience comes a butterfly net which is used to scoop Reverend Brown off the stage. It seems Jack Henderson the butterfly collector is anxious for the play to begin. The lights are dimmed and the curtain is raised on the stage appear Jack Fletcher the villian' Edith McFarren the heroine' Don Bye the hero' and Judy Jenkins the French maid. Other members of the cast are Shirley Kueber Ken Gottsman Sidney Breden. Bob Buckingham, Darlene Holler and Jewell Dearborn. Between Acts I and Il the spotlrte is shown on the newly elected President of the United States Judy Jacobson and her Cabinet Vice President Buddy Kaufenberg Secretary of State George Thelen Secretary of Defense Don Manners Secretary of Agriculture George Rose After purchasing refreshments from Iris Knight and Mae Belle Thompson we return to our seats for Act II Tragedy strikes the lights wont go off and Richard Jump electrical engineer with his assistants Don Burns and Delbert Smith rush to the scene After a few seconds the lights are fixed and the play is about to resume But unseen by the fascinated audience Paul Hosek is lurk ing in the shadows of the balcony waiting for the precise mo ment when he shall assassinate the president Due to the quick thinking of Sharon Murphy he is pushed over the railing and falls into the orchestra pit in the midst of Joanne Sitz Sophie Schmid and Lorinda Sexton who are playing The Last Rose of Summer Dr Nancy Johnson and nurse Marcella Hanson quickly rush to the scene and summon a stretcher which is carried by Mar shall Hoefs and Roy Loomer The play is once more under way but we notice that the characters have been replaced fthey have left for a coffee break J The new cast is as follows Carole Lindstrom Pauline Lydell Ruth Malm Robert Malm Robert Nelson Victor Olson and John Shea After six hours and forty five minutes the lovely'7 play has come to an end We are invited to the Panther Club by host esses Mary Lou Potter and Joyce Peterson with their Million aire escorts Dale Pritchard and Allen Schaupp The club is beautifully decorated by interior decorator Karen Miller and her assistants Donna Rider and Janice McMillen The entertainment was the fabulous Jupiter Chorus line composed of Bonnie Stephens Sharon Terhark Reneta Wieland Edith Walde and JoAnn Pollock The party is brought to an end by those four millionaires with the mellow voices who call themselves the Four 35 Richard Roll John Shillingsburg Greg Tigue and Moxie Vizenor by leading us in singing Auld Lang Syne wondering where another twenty years will Find the class of 1956 J 0220 , , , . , , , . . .
