It is certain that one can expect inflation and unemployment to rise. drug addiction and alco- holism to continue to plague our society and crime to increase. However. it is also certain that one can anticipate great advances in tech- nology. numerous medical discoveries and multi- tudes of opportunities which the winner of the l98O presidential elections may have to offer. lt's hard to say what all might happen, said Tammy VanMeter, senior. We may find a cure for cancer. There are thousands of possibiIities. With the emphasis on the positive, this year's student body seemed to unite with a new under- standing of each other and an optimistic outlook on the future.
