In addition, the student may learn to play Monopoly in Spanish, or Scrabble in French, to enjoy a French crepe or a Mexican taco, and in gen- eral, to enjoy using the new language. Mrs. Stonewall examines one of her student's latest assignments. Hands in position, ready, begin! These are some of the sounds heard as you walk past the typing and business classes as stu- dents peck away the min- utes at timed-writings and letters. Through concentra- tion and perserverance, typ- ing and shorthand skills are developed for possible ca- reers or merely for personal use. In the business classes, attention is directed towards consumer problems, taxes, family finance, insurance, labor, and a study of the legal procedures involved in business transactions. Office experience is gained by learning to operate var- ious machines, working in the school office, enrolling in a specified course. Mrs. Mary Foraker-Office Machines, Basic Business Mrs. Foraker is teaching in one of the new 3l'll'ISXeS.
