administration Dr. James J. Harmon As each landmark in our lives is reached, it is appropriate to examine the past and to specu- late upon what the future will bring. At these times it is possible for each of us to effect a type of individual renewal that provides us with a new zest for life. As the school year draws to a close, I encourage each of you to spend some time in reflection and attempt to restructure your goals in life. Your reward will be a new perspec- tive of your world and hopefully additional confi- dence in facing it. I sincerely hope your year has been both pleasant and profitable. William Langley Assistant Superintendent We often hear from the older generation of today their expression of concern about the na- ture of today's youth and their ability to cope with the future society. This, of course, is nothing new, because the older generations have been saying this about the younger generations for hundreds of years. However, it is my sincere feeling, as l examine and work with the youth of today, if any- thing, you are stronger in such areas as charac- ter, sincerity, concern for your fellow man, than a good many of us who represent today's so-called older generation. There is no doubt in my mind but that the overwhelming majority of young people of today will rise to the challenges that the future presents, and will handle them just as well and better than those of us who have had the responsibility these last few years. l believe sincerely, and put full confidence in you as a generation, and wish you the best of luck as you move off into the future that confronts you. l am quite certain that with you in charge, the demands of the future are in good hands.
