ADMINISTRATION To the Seniors of ' 68, I extend congratulations for your achievement and commend you for the fine leader- ship you have provided at Park Hill Senior High this past year. It has been a year in which you have ini- tiated and carried out many student-centered activities and projects that have brought a new spirit of cooper- ation and enthusiasm to our student body. By your splendid example, you have laid the groundwork for further development of student leader- ship in our school. I also wish to commend all members of the student body for their cooperation in their intellectual venture at Park Hill, and urge each student to complete his education so that he will be better qualified to live and work in the complex society of the future. , I am encouraged by the greatly increased interest in education throughout the country, a concerned interest that needs to be extended and magnified for, education, as never before, is basic to our national security and the general welfare of mankind. My best wishes follow you as you move on to higher goals. Russell G. Jones Russell G. Jones Superintendent In today ' s world, one often hears that the key to survival lies in the moral and spiritual values of its people. One also hears that the world is doomed be- cause of a complete breakdown in the value system of its people — particularly its young people. However, as I observe and talk with the youth of today, it is my observation that their value system in- a moral sense is stronger than that of former generations. This is par- ticularly true in the area of concern for one ' s fellow man — and it is in this area that morality has practical, real implications. In this respect, I have the utmost confidence in those of you who represent the future. May you always have the best of luck, and I would encourage you to continue the development of a value system that is oriented toward real concern for your fellow man. James J. Harmon James J. Harmon Assistant-Superintendent

ADMINISTRATION My congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 1968. You have passed through a phase of your life that holds fond memories for most of you and now you have been launched further on a continuing journey through life. We hope for you that a goal has been set, so that you have a direction. The opportunity to pick up the tools you need to move toward this goal has been provided. If you have taken advantage of the opportunities you have the means of solving the prob- lems life will hold for you. So as you leave the life of high school behind, you commence a new life. Then, life will hold no challenge that cannot be met and you will know a life of dignity and meaning not measured alone in material gain but in service, satisfaction and peace of mind. Oscar F. Mussman Principal Oscar F. Mussman Principal Congratulations to the young men and women of the 1967-68 Graduation Class. You have developed abilities and learned skills during your years at Park Hill, and now are ready for the oppor- tunity to use them in setting the direction of your life. Thus, the real test of your education begins. The extent of your success will be determined largely by how well you define your purpose, concentrate your ef- forts toward your goals, and persist in your efforts to achieve them. Studies of the lives of great men reveal that these were the major sources of their success. Whatever your endeavors, my best wishes for your hap- piness and success go with you.
