If the opportunities provided have been meaningful, you will have a secure developmental base from which to operate as you move out into a world of continuing chal- lenge. Each of you will have an accumulated reserve of experiences that should carry you courageously into new and stimulating ventures. You will have learned to know yourself and, hopefully, to have gained the understanding that life takes strength--not just physical stamina, but strength based on faith. Thus, as this inward strength becomes a part of you, a sense of wonder will enable you to grow to a level of power and wisdom you have never before known. It is my wish that you, being wiser and filled with wonder, will continue to search for the eternal truths and always accept your place in Godls world. Oscar F. Mussman Mrs. Thelma Battmer Mrs. Betty Peterson Secretary to the Principal Office Secretary LQfe is but a shadow, a poor player who struts and frets his hour upon the' stage, and then is heard no more. The immortal Shakespeare described the fleeting pas- sage of life in these words. He would indicate to us that once life has slipped beyond the apron of its stage we must have left a mark to be remembered by. High School days are over for the Class of l66 and days are becoming fewer for the underclasses, yet there remains all of the play except the opening scene. My hope is that your days of rehearsal at Park Hill have given you the composure to meet your audience with confidence, that you may be able to meet the challenge of yearst and wipe away the tears, and when the final encore has been made and the applause has become only a memory that you will still be able to manage one more smile, one more wink, and one more hint of a gleam in your eye as you think back upon your years at Park Hill.
