pank hull' DRGUCESI Enom the past Messages from the Administration Mrs. Jones says -- America's complex and growing industry demands alert, creative, imaginitative young men and women who can take their place in an age of specialists. Such workers, educated and disciplined in the high school class rooms, are our na- tions greatest wealth and most critical need. I challenge each one of you students at Park Hill Senior High to stay in school and apply yourself to your school work as a matter of fairness to yourself and duty to your country. I wish to congratulate each member of the graduating class on your achievement and wish you much luck and suc- cess in your life. Mr. Wolkey says -- The students of the Park Hill Senior High School are to be commended on their splendid co-operation both in aca- demic and extracurricular activities, The adjugmlem to 3 new school situation was conducted in an orderly fashion. WE OEOICAIE It V bl 's-V4 I a ppl n V THE 1959 TROYIAN to THE R-5 BOARD OF EDUCATION : STANDING: Otto Oberhelman, Memberg Earl Cannady, Memberg Russell G. I ones Sup 1- erintendent of Schools. SEATED: Mrs. Bernice Hutson, Secretaryg Edward ,T Schuett y ' Presidentg B. G. Case, Memberg Alfred L. Renner, Vice-Presidentgwinston .T Peeler P - I t I a t The R-5 Board of Education is made up of men of broad knowledge and experience. Next to our parents, they probably take a greater interest in our general welfare than any other group of people. They realize that we will be the leaders of tomorrow, trying to combat the problems of life that may arise. They are helping us to prepare for the future in many ways. They have been instrumental in giving us this new Park Hill Senior High School with plans in the future for an admini- stration building, a fieldhouse, and an athletic field for foot- ball and a quarter-mile track. If it were not for the Board of Education, Park Hill would never have attained its high standing in the state or accomplished what it has in the past. Park Hill's students appreciate them to the utmost for their fine job. For these reasons and for their unselfish devotion to often-unappreciated service to the community we, the TROY- IAN Staff, dedicate this, the 1959 TROYIAN, to the members of the Board of Education.
