S SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Such Hard-working Juniors I! Them were the good old days, Jan. -:f ess, V , W,.,X, it as L There's a wheel in every crowd! Hilarious antics during Freshman Initiation. The Senior Class of 1957 began their high school days as eighth graders at Park Hill. They have the honor of being the only class to attend Park Hill for five years. Frwhman Initiation days were hilarious and will never be forgotten. The Sophomore year was high-lighted by a picnic on the Cottrell farm and an assembly honoring Mr. Jankowski, our sponsor. This Is Your Life, was the theme of the assembly in which the entire class participated. The main events of the junior year included the Prom and the Junior Play, The theme of the Prom was Paint the Town Red, and the play title was Seventeen is Terrific, Accomplishments of the senior year were many. Five seniors were club presidents, the R-5 news editor and the T royian co-editors, The proceeds of the magazine sale, sponsored by the senior class, were used in the purchase of a section of a scoreboard to be installed at the new school building, The senior play, Gaslight was a success. Members of the cast included John Stegman, Louella Dunagan, Jenny Quimby, Nathan Spain, and Julie Schnabel, who did a fine job replacing Karen Howe at the last moment. Senior trips to Jefferson City, Columbia, B.O,P,, and Wyandotte County Lake were enjoyed by many seniors. The seniors won a ooke party by purchasing a larger percentage of annuals than any other class. Senior Breakfast at Municipal Airport, Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises rounded out this full year.
