Several students proved outstanding. Kay Vicars was chosen DAR girl for '55, Sue Parriott attended the Pacific Regional Convention of FHA, Logan, Utah. George Nelson, basketball star, made the All State A string. Varsity cheerleaders included Kay Vicars, Colleen Sheak, Sandy Ashmore, and Veryl Leech. Delegates to Girls' State were Jo Ann Long, Jolene Wallace and Kay Vicars. Boys' State was attended by Dennis McGee, Thomas White, Marvin Woodring, Charles Rahn, Dennis Murdock, Craig Hamilton, and Bob Figgins. Craig Hamilton and Sue Patriot excelled as editors of the Geyser, while Jo Ann Long and Bob Backen led the Ranger staff. Go West, Young Man, was pre- sented as the class play. Honor Society members included: Bob Backen, Charles Rahn, Marvin Woodring, Dennis McGee, Mike Yardley, Margaret Allen, Sue Par- riott, Bob Figgins, Craig Hamilton, Kay Vicars, Nancy Nelson, Chester Marion, Bob Moriarty, Dan Wemer, and Tom White. Marvin Woodring was Valedicto- rian and Craig Hamilton, Salutato- rian. Baccalaureate was held in the Congregational Church, May 22. Finally, 117 seniors graduated May 27, with Judge W. W. Lessley of Bozeman giving the Commencement Address. Class officers: Marvin Woodring, vice-presidentg Dennis McGee, treasurer5 Bob Figgins, presidentg Dennis Murdock, secretary.

They presented the play Meet Corliss Archer on March 11. The Junior Prom honoring the seniors was held April 30. The A squad cheerleaders were Virginia O'Neil1 and Sharon Young. The new members of the Honor Society were Shirley Mercer, Beverly Questad, Jean Schlinder, Larry Murdock, and Gary Pearson. Home Room Representatives were Bob lott, Ronnie Phofl, Jim Brookie, and Roger Sigler. Sharon Parker, Jo Ann Gollmyer, Dick Bodine, and Howard Walter were the Home Room Chairmen. Those selected for Girls' State were Juanita Miller, Sharon Hardgrove, and Kris Lentfer. Alternates were Marlene Patzer, Shirley Mercer, and Claudia Greene. The annual staff members were Merry Smith, Kris Lentfer, and Sharon Parker.
