This year's seventh graders felt more grown up than last year's. However, they also felt smaller next to ninth graders, and a bit lost in the new surroundings. Some problems they had in- cluded eating lunch later, get- ting more homework, and be- ing hassled by the older kids. During the first weeks of school, some felt scared and confused.
