Pirate Pride is at its best Pride is whor sets Pork Center oport from ony other High School. Fons flock to support their fovorite sports teams and display o greot amount of loyalty ond patriotism. While cheering at gomes is one of the biggest ways in which Pirates show pride, they olso show it in many other ways such os displaying their school colors, sports and name by wearing a voriety of clothing articles with pride. Pirates ore proud of the things that they achieve. The Pork Center cheerleaders spend plenty of time ond effort making posters to display the accomplishments ond the hord work of fellow Pirates. Pirate Pride wos at it's peok this yeor os Pirates everywhere cheered the Minnesota Twins to the World Series. We could feel the Pride in the home ream's accomplishments ond we could easily relate that to the pride we feel here or Park Center when the members of our school achieve a goal for themselves ond for our school. Knowing that Tim Laudner was o former Park Center graduate brought a special joy to our hearts. (To know that a former Pork Center graduore had gone so for in his life ond to know that he still hadn't forgotten his memories or his Pride here at Pork Center). Here or Pork Center we enjoy celebrorions with one onother in mony different woys: Speciol donees in the cofererio ore one of the highlights of the holidoy seosons. We get the chonce to rock to our fovorite tunes by the best D.J.'s. We con olso show our holidoy cheer by dressing up for spirit week ond weoring such things os our fovorite college sweotshirr or putting on our best boxer shorts ond Ho-woiion shirts. No one con ever forger their short but delightful visits with Sonto Clous or the big bolloons ond beautiful flowers we received for Valentines doy. oil to worm up the cold winter days.
