“Meet Me at the Prom” sparkles This Year, Park Center’s 3-act play was “Meet Me At the Prom.” It took approximately six weeks to prepare for showtime, which was on February 26, 27, and 28. For the 18 cast members working in the 3-act play, it gave everyone a chance to improve their acting abilities, to make new friends, and to experience the feeling of accomplishment. “Meet Me At the Prom” took place at Central High in the midst of a prom queen election. Julia Cartwright and Sheila Rollins were the competitors. The guys of the school decided to vote for Lucy Trainor, a very unpopular, but intelligent girl. This caused numerous problems. The 3-act play was directed by Mr. Marvin Douglas and, needless to say, it was appreciated by the audience. This page: 1. Denise sits quietly while Kyle checks out her form. 2.
