Homecoming Royalty dazzles the eyes of Pirate supporters After a varied and talented group of performers, it was time for the coronation. The crowd cheered as the royal court entered, a couple at a time, selected by the whole student body. Then the suspense of the week was over as Homecoming King, Darren Bocksell and Queen Brenda Domingo were crowned and the dance could begin led by the royalty for Homecoming 1985. 1. Hidden talent lurks in the dark Pirate's Den Place: Park Center High School. Reason: Homecoming 1985 in the Pirate's Cove. It all started when Phil Rush and Jamie Curry came out of nowhere and started cracking jokes to put the audience in good spirits. After the tiny couples found their places in the platform area, the high school members of the Royal Court floated in to the enthusiastic response of the crowd. Sophomore attendants were Dan Hreha and Alison Hobson. The juniors were Matt For-sgen and Barbie Miller. Senior attendants were: Brenda Domingo and Jim Patterson, Michele Bourasa and Darren Bocksell, Kris Drew and Kevin Leto, Kris Gross and Kevin Ouinlan, Racquel Yurch and Eric Lehtola. Tne 1984 Homecoming King and Queen, Bill Murphy and Amy Schaeffer were replaced oy the 1985 King and Queen led by the 1985 King and Queen Darren Bocksell and Brenda Domingo. Talent this year was breathless. The show started with tne award winning Park Center Pirouettes. Their precision is always a wonder to behold. Then it was time for the Company B's. Good blend, girls. Next the crowd was treated to Flying Peter the Peculiar with his skillful juggling acts. He 1. |odi Fran sings an original composition. 2. Pete Blocdel captivates the audience with his fire juggling. 3. The Lucky-7 delighted listeners: Kevin Leto, Bruce Quitmeyer, Kevin Quinlan. Mike Polis and John Lucking (not pictured, Chris Hanssen and Dan Christen). 4. The Joyful Brothers: Mike Polis and Kevin Quinlan were also show stoppers at the Minnesota State Fair. Company B consisting of Michelle Trepamer, Kelly Kersting and Melissa Galuppo sing some oldies. has gotten better every year. Miss Jodi Franz accompanied herself and sang T.O.Y., an original composition. State Fair winners Mike Pohs and Kevin Quinlan were superb. It wasn't hard to tell that Michele Bourasa and Laura l innell worked hard to perfect their dance routine. Wendy Paulson sang Arms of Love and was followed by the l ucky-7. These men were hot. It was one of the best coronation nights Park Center has ever seen. 12 STUDENT LIFE
