Special Ed tailors class programs (upper) Sue Korpi (lower) Charles Herman (upper) Mark Steinberg (lower) June Long Work undertaken in Special Education was set up entirely to meet the need of the students participating. Classrooms were arranged to provide a research facility to help students succeed in the academic skills. First, the program focused on the success and enjoyment of a student’s high school experience. Secondly, students learned skills needed after high school-job readiness and leisure-time activities. The success of the area is shared jointly by the students and teachers of the whole school. 24

Computers, calulators aid Math Dept. From Business to Analysis, the Math Department brings out the idea that Mathematics is a universal language. This language, one of symbols and numbers, creates a bond among all Math students of the world. Addition and multiplication arc standards that everyone knows. This year, new calculators have been used in routine calculations, leaving the students more free time to experiment w ith the computers. 23 (upper I.) Brad Frost looks for help (upper r.)
