Without your par- ticipation this yearbook would not exist. The Panorama staff went to Watertown for its annual yearbook meeting. We learned many new things and among the most important the fact that dedications are out. It is unfair to dedicate the yearbook to one or even two people, when everyone in the community is involved. So we, as the yearbook staff, dedicate this yearbook to the good luck and success of all involved. You the students, administration and parents, thank you for being there. ee es ee EP TTP ES BGR On eae He Ee SON ee TARR Teme terete A RRC SRE RN A om met Dedication Seniors Huderclassmen Activittes Cable of Contents ee 28 4.2 Sports Elementary Administration Faculty Special Events 54 66 §2 Sentors Graduation Commencement Excerises began Friday Evening, June 22nd, at 8:00 P.M. Prom Night “We've Only Just Begun’ Prom night, June 2nd, proved to be a very enjoyable and exciting night. Oymyx played just the right kind of music for such a special night. The decor of the prom created a garden-like atmosphere. Everyone looked especially nice, was happy, and had an expecially nice time. ¢ le = 4 a ia ) a wet my, = { t dance. irs ¢ ma = rad O ey (e) 12) oo (above) Coogar and Tom start the f (right) Everyone dances to the mus 3 Gir? Se §6=©60 Underclassmen Being chosen as an exchange student is really a re- warding experience. I feel lucky to have been this last year's representative to Mexico. Mexico is really an exciting country to visit. There are lots of places to see, like Mexico City, Oaxtapec, Teotihuacan, the country and of-course Acapulco, but the most memorable and valuable aspect of my trip was liv- ing with really fantastic family, meeting people and mak- ing new friendships. This fall we finished in sec- ond place, and had a chance to finish in first until we lost the last game. Highlights included winning four games in a row, posting four shutouts this season, and an exciting 2-0 win over Colton-Pierrepont, We made the playoffs in just our second year of play, but lost to Knox in the first playoff game. Jack Keener was named to the first All-League Team at centegs-half, while Dick Bicknell (line) and Willard Witherall (goal) were named to the second team, Other standouts during the season were Vlad Hampl, Mike Bar- ton, Kevin Richardson, Don Wright and David Richardson, We will miss the many seniors who played this year, but are looking forward to another good season next fall as we still have many players returning. 58 Will MALS ard Withe rall Baseball Jim Smith “eee Back to front: W. Bad weather and no home games took their toll on our baseball team last spring. We were unable to play (or practive) at all on our baseball field last spring due to wet grounds, Even though we had these problems, we finished in fourth place, behind Brushton, St. Joe's, and Heuvel- ton. We played only eight games out of the scheduled twelve, however. Dick Bicknell was named to the first team, All League, at third base for the second year, Kevin Richard- son, Willard Witherall, Steve Burdett, Danny Emlin and Mike Barton also played well during the season. Dallion, D. Sheldon, After finally making the playoffs last year, the Panthers are looking to repeat, and possibly improve, their position. With six out of the seven teams as definite contenders, it will be tough for any team to dominate the whole league. The team, led by six seniors who are returning for their last season, is off to an exciting, successful start, We won our Thanks- giving Tournament, defeating Knox 82-40 and C-P 79-40. Jack Keener, Dick Bicknell, and Mike Barton were named to the Tournaments All-Star team. We are sure the rest of the season will be just as exciting as the beginning of it.
