Wm' , We Dedicote This Yeorbook To Chuck Man is a builder of monuments. He encloses his ad- miration for his heroes and gods in statues, and temples and mausolea. He even attempts to capture in words the qualities of another man's soul. We are so quick to commemorate our victories and oh, so hesitant to perpetuate our defeats. Yet even these find their ways into stone, and steel and bronze. And then there is no glory in our human fraility. But when an individual leads such a life as to inef- faceably engrave his mark upon the soul and being of his fellow man, he needs no monument that we could ever conceiveg for he has inspired others to say of him: I remember . It is of his presence, and not of his passing that our hearts sing. '
