He has done graduate work at Potsdam State, St. Lawrence University, and Syracuse University. He began his teaching career in Parish- ville in September 1963. He is married to a P.H.C.S. Elementary teacher and has four children. He is Mr. Edward Lenney, to whom we proudly dedicate this book. 5 Tammy Adams, 2 years old, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, teachers at PHCS. Bert Rosenbarker was a 1962 graduate from PHCS. He attended St. Lawrence University and was employed at Agway and State Teacher's College at Potsdam. I MALCOLM WILCOX NOV. 8, 1908-DEC. 14, 1969 Waterson Lindsey, Jr., a 1965 graduate of PHCS, entered the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. Honorably discharged in 1968, he re-enlisted for 6 years and was stationed in Vietnam for 18 months. He received the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Army Commendation Me- dal, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Vietnam Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Ribboa Mr. Wilcox, a bus driver for 17 years, received a safe driving award at PHCS. Mr. Ellis a plumber for 40 years owned and operated the Ellis Plumbing Shop in Parishville for 6 years. Mrs. Claflin was a 1956 graduate of PHCS. Mr. Adams was a custodian at PHCS for 16 years. PHCS is not just a building of bricks, glass, con- crete, tile, and lush new carpeting--- ... Rather, it is the core, the hub of activity for the stu- dents who fill its corridors and classrooms. Concluding a successful season, the varsity baseball team finished in a tie for second with Colton, both having 6-4 records. Through this organization a Teachers’ Aid program has been established. Not only does this help the teachers but it also provides insight into the teaching profession. BEDOYA EXCHANGE STUDENT ( 72 ) f PHCS’s first Foreign Exchange Student, through the International Fellowship Program, is Pedro Bedoya from Lima, Peru. He is seventeen years old and is from a family of seven children in which he is the fifth. His father, Luis Bedoya, is a lawyer and the mayor of Lima. Pedro has completed a boys’ high school and intends to graduate with the PHCS 1970 class. He enjoys read- ing, writing, and music. Pedro hopes to attend college in the U.S. to be- come an engineer.
