lt is with pleasure that I take this opportunity to write a few words to you, the students of Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. To you students who are terminating your first step in the educational process may you find success and prosperity in whatever you endeavor to do, To those of you who are remaining with us until you graduate from high school, may you have the foresight to prepare yourselves to the best of your ability. This may be done by using, to the utmost, the facilities available, whether it be completing your assigned work, asking the teacher for that extra help that would make the difference as to your un- derstanding of the subject, using the guidance office and the materials that are there for you to use, and above all, ask questions if there is something you don't understand. Remember that it is up to you to live up to your state motto in education---and that is, Let each become all that he is capable of being . Q, ,afmwa Ray Harrington. WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY. To the Class of 1962: You are rapidly approaching the end of a very important milestone in life. The past four years have been, l'm sure, most enjoyable. They have also been most important in building a foundation to prepare you to meet more adequately the many complex challenges which lie ahead. The efforts of your parents, your teachers and most important your own ef- forts will now begin to show how well you have applied the opportunities made available to you. We live in a highly competitive society and in a nation which has become the leader and it is because of it's ability to educate its youth. To those of you who will pursue your education further, may I ex- tend a sincere wish for your continued success. Remember that worth- while goals in life are not achieved without determined efforts. To those of you who plan to seek employment it would be well to remember that employers are not interested in excuses but rather results. Always strive to improve your efforts. May the years ahead bring only the very best for each of you. ,X ' Q My - William Pelotte
