We hope that the pages of this book will recall, in years to come, many happy events, fun, and worthwhile activities. We, the staff of the 1961 Panorama , dedicate this issue to Mr. William Pelotte. We thank him for being our class advisor the past three years, and for being an under- standing and patient teacher. We Wish him continued success and we hope that this book Will prove to be a source of pleasure for him. Eleven years ago, we were just starting school. Martha Moses, Cindy Weegar, Harry Caringi, David Nelson, and Steven Snell have been with the class since its beginning. The following students started school in the Parishville District and are now in our class: Diane Daby, Louise Frank, Elizabeth Lauber, Sharon LaPoint, Eleanor Malbone, Doris Snickles, Conrad Cook, Roger Daby, Leland Planty, James Rabideau, Elbridge Randall, and Paul Randall. ln- the first grade, we welcomed Madeline Snell, Ellen Thaler, George Thompson, and Harry Wells. Gwendolyn Warner, Burton Chevier, and Gary Sebastian joined us in the second grade. Patricia McGill, Milton Frary, and Robert Tyler came in the fourth grade, Duane Butter- field in the sixth, Robert Daniels and Dana Norman in the seventh, and Susan Anthony and Fred LaBar in the eighth. Our class numbered fifty-six in the seventh grade, forty-four in the eighth grade. Since the beginning of our junior year, we have lost Judy Baldwin Barrett, ThelmaRemington Butterfield, Charlotte Hubbard, Bonnie Bonno Richards, Charles Bouchard, LeroyBray, TommyFarnes, Danny Peacock, Danny Wright, Robert Randolph, Marvil Vieu, Larry Wagoner, and Sandra Richardson Robar. Because our class is so large, we have had to work more than any other class in order to raise enough money for our senior trip. Our ninth and tenth years were rather inactive. We had a few dances, but we made very little money. In the fall of our junior year, we got our class rings. During the year we had a junior jamboree, a successful junior prom and several dances and banquets. This year, our first activity was the senior ball. Roger Daby was King and Susan Anthony was Queen. Sharon LaPoint sold the most magazines in our magazine drive. We have also sold candy and sponsored a donkey basketball game. We are now Working on the senior play, Ghosts Go West. It will be presented at the end of March. We have received our senior pictures and our name cards and have ordered our graduation invitations. Mr. Pelotte has been our class advisor for the past three years. He has helped us organize and carry out most of our fund raising campaigns. The senior class of 1961 will soon be on its way to New York. ROYALTY Z ,. , 553225,agwz.mwomSzi1qsAf,, fwm ,W . my . ,.mg:1Q, W, ,mwwgw .W Am, - Y We ,Q Q5 Wwwi. ,A ,fam . Our duties include signing out, carding, shelving, and mending books. Some have special projects such as filing magazines, keeping the card catalog up-to-date, and keeping the shelves properly arranged. These junior librarians assist the elementary and secondary students in locating information and in finding books. Those members who ehave put in a sufficient number of hours will be awarded pins at the end of the year. We have a meeting every six weeks to plan special and educational activities. In the spring we plan to take a trip to a large public library. ROW ONE: B. Rosenbarker, V. Eakins, R. Daby, C. Cook, D. Butterfield M Richael, Mr. Beha. ROW TWO: D. Burnett, M. Frary, T.
