Class History con't There were forty nine in the whole class Each section had its own homeroom and organized with its own officers That year we had a Valentine Party and attended the movie Vlvanhoen Our officers for group one were Pres Robert Chevier, Vice Pres Betty Wilson, Sec Ann Snyder, Treas Jim Warner, Reporter Mary Wilson, Class Advisor Mrs Duffy Group two officers were Pres Dick Corbin, Vice Pres Nancy Phippen, Sec Judy Hotaling, Treas Juanita Katner, Reporter Adrienne Peary, Advisor Mr Garbreana For the eighth grade our officers were Pres Judy Hotaling, Vice Pres Betty'Wilsen, Sec Adrienne Peary, Treas Robert with 8th grade graduation Forty one members graduated into high school We had a speaking contest in which the first prize was given to Nancy Phippen, second prize to Juanita Katner, third prize to Judy Hotaling and honorable mention to Adrienne Peary Freshmen officers were Pres Adrienne Peary, Vice Pres David wells, Sec Nancy Phippen, Treas Mary Wilson, Student Council Rep Diane Planty and Kenneth Wilson, Reporter Mary Wilson, Advisor Miss Yaneralla During that year we had a Sock hop and a Hat Dance whlch were both very sucessful In our sophmore class the officers were Roger Hoyt Pres , David wells Vice Pres , Dick Corbin Sec , Shirley Shampine Asst Sec , Mary Sevey Reporter, Diane Planty and Robert Chevier Student Council Rep , Mr Pelotte Advisor Our porjects during that year were two dances and selling shirts, ballpoint pens and hats Chevier, Advisor-Mr. Knapp. That year was a big year for us . Pge Class Hlstory Out of our class of twenty four there are only four who started in Parishville School They are Norma Moses, Lila Fountain, Richard Corbin and Roger Hoyt In the third grade Juanita Katner, Judy hotaling and David Wells Jolned us Robert Chevier came in the fourth grade The fifth grade brought us William LaPoint, Norene Warner and Jean Pearl James Warner, Ronald Planty, Marlene Sebastian and Gloria La Clair came in the sixth grade Seventh grade brought us Mary Sevey, Nancy Phippen, Patricia Snickles, Jo Ann Phippen, Diane Planty, Laura Thompson, Wayne Peck and Shirley Shampine Our last addition to the class was Charles Turner who came in Since primer class the students who have dropped out of our class are Martin Rabideau, Beverly Richards, Peggy Nurne Lorraine Laggue, Mary Wilson, Mary Sochia, Barbara Smith Gary Ward, John LaMay, Veronica Randall, Adrienne Peary, Jame Adner, Dick Christy, Dale Sochia, Judy Grant, Harold Webster, Elmer Crump, Francis Richard, Erwin Richards, Lowell Sochia Robert LaMore, Mary Swift, Patricia Lauber, Gloria Norman, Harold Phippen, Clarise Boulds, James Curry, Donald Curr Thomas Flanagan, Betty Wilson, Janice Puryer, Kenneth Wilso Gilbert Kwasney, Lorraine Crump, Ann Snyder, James Perry, Judy Bonner, Larry Bartlett, Beverly Farmes, Mark Gothier and Sally Planty In the seventh grade we moved into the new btllding Our class was divided into two sections because it was so large 24 S I . . - , , O 4 A ' 4 I O . - Q our sophmore year. 3 Ya ' - as - 7 Ya Ha O A 1. Class History con't In our junior year our officers were Pres Roger Hoyt Vice Pres Nancy Phippen, Sec Judy Hotallng, Treas Jo Ann Phippen, Reporter Juanita Katner, Student Council Rep Diane Planty, Dick Corbin, David Wells and Robert Chevier Advisors Mrs Thimm and Mr Tyler Our activities for the year included two dances and the very important Junior Senior Prom From our class the following were elected for royalty ents were Nancy Phip en and Dick Corbin Our first activity this year was a magazine campaign which was very successful Bill LaPoint sold the most magazines We also sold cards and stationery with Bill LaPoint again selling the most We had a banquet for the Sylvan Falls Club We had two dances with orchestras and several vic dances after the basketball games We sold candy in the cafteria during the lunch hours We also had a Senior Faculty Basket ball game On March 13 we attended the dress rehersal of UMy Three Angelsn at Potsdam State Teachers College As this goes to press we are planning our trip to New'York City and we are looking forward to the Junior Senior Prom Class of 1958 as First Graders ll Page 26 : 0' 1 Diane Planty-Princess and David Wells-Prince.
