SENIOR ORCHIDS The class of 1957 presents an orchid to: Adrienne Peary for being Salutatorian and for winning the Homemaking and D. A. R. Awards. Evelyn Russell for being Valedictorian. Mr. Turcotte for helping with our many problems. Mr. Beha and Mrs. Sullivan for being class advisors. Miss Bloomfield for directing our play and the work on the yearbook. Mrs. Jenack for being advisor of the Junior Varsity and Varsity cheerleaders. v Pat Magill for being business manager of the yearbook. Pat Hoyt for being editor of the Atom. Donald Petty for winning the foul shooting contest. Diane Planty for being president of the student council. James Curry for being captain of the football team. Reggie Barrett for being high scorer of the Varsity. David wells and James Curry for being co-captains of the Varsity basketball team. Danny Conger for being captain of the JVs.

Class History In the class of 1957, Patricia Hoyt, Patricia Magill, and Evelyn Russell started out in Parishville. Dale Sampier joined us in the second grade and Dona LaPoint, in the fifth grade. Ruth LaClair, Carl Ward, and Donald Petty joined in the sixth grade. Seventh grade brought us Ruth Conklin, Shirley Thompson, Ray Thompson, and Betty Perry. Eighth grade brought us Herbie Phippen and Linda DeLa1re. Joanne Phelix came in our sophomore year and Adrienne Peary in our junior year. Seventh grade, our class officers were: Patricia Robinson, President, Reggie Ellis, Vice-President, Patricia Magill, Treas- urer, Patricia Hoyt, Secretary, Ruth Conklin, Reporter, and our class advisor was Mrs. Cummings. That year we had a Valentine party with a scavenger hunt. we also had a project on Treasure Island displayed in the library. For the eighth grade, we moved into the new building. Our class officers were: Patricia Hoyt, President, Carolyn Bicknell, Vice-President, Dona LaPoint, Secretary, Patricia Magill, Treas- urer, Carl Ward, Reporter, and our class advisor was Mr. Knapp. That year was a big year for us with 8th grade graduation. Twenty two members graduated into high school. we had a speaking contest in which the first prize was given to Ruth LaClair, the second prize to Evelyn Russell, the third prize to Beverly Clark, and the fourth prize to Betty Perry. Freshman year officers were: Patricia Hoyt, President, Dona LaPoint, Vice-President, Patricia Magill, Secretary, Herb Phippen, Treasurer, Nancy Lunderman and Ray Thompson, Reporters.
