1951+ 55 On the 8th of September, a beautiful day, Parishville Hopkinton Central School got under way Mr Turcotte came to P H C S last fall He has been very helpful in keeping us on the ball There were six other new teachers too, They soon gave us plenty of work o do We had an assembly at the beginning of school Mr Turcotte told us how to abide by the rule Football season started off with a loss to Morristown However, the boys didn't let this get them down And the boys won the league championship as you all know, That made it two years in a row On Octobdr 29, we celebrated Halloween, The cider and doughnuts caused not one bad dream The Book week assembly was quite a chore, But most of the participants had fun galore The seniors put on nwish on the Moonu, a play, Basketb ll season began with our playing Colton A hard fought game which we finally won This year vic dances became the rule, They were lots of fun for the whole school Three days in a row school didn't keep, Because heavy storms this place did sweep The Christmas party was a lot of fun, There were food ano presents for everyone The juniors had a dance and play in December, Both of them they will always remember The Student Council started the Student Patrol It is made up of students who are on the Honor Roll In January there was the usual March of Dimes, That netted nearly one hundred dollars, which was very fine Many basketball games were delayed, This made many students quite dismayed We made the playoffs at Potsdam this year, The Varsity came out third did you hearq On March 30 thenPanoramd'goes to press, We'll have to close for now, we guess 7 After they'd worked a month and a day. 5 F P a
