Thank Heaven For Teachers And Staff A good teacher and supportive staff are the best things that can be thrust into any situation at any time! They find life full of many trying and unusual situations. Let's look at this select group — they all are a composite of: Courage. Sympathy, Patience, Faith, Hope, and Love. The teachers spend twelve hours a day searching for truth and the other twelve searching for error. These real teachers and staff are expected to have the energy of a harnessed volcano, the efficiency of a calculator, the memory of a computer, the understanding of a psychiatrist, and the diplomacy of an ambassador Then, too, they must be human , always remem- bering — teaching is done by word, but mostly by precept and example! They do not mind sniffles, squirmings. spills, stomach aches, sloth and sauciness. Neither do they disintegrate before tears, trifles, fights, futility, excuses, parents who spout, little boys who shout, and little girls who pout. Best of all they are someone who like someone else's children and still have enough strength left to go to meetings — faculty meetings. Inservice Days, departmental meetings. Booster Meetings, and ball- games. Yes, then there are church meetings, and on and on! Meet- ings, meetings, meetings! Remember, you may retire as a teacher or staff member, but one never retires from teaching. To these indispensible. invincible, and nearly inexhaustible REAL PEO- PLE we salute and say THANK HEAVEN FOR TEACHERS AND STAFF! Dedication 5
