William Hudnall Lee Ingram Renee Johnson T Matthew Hunt Barry Johnson Darnel Jones Tina Hutsell In Memoriam There is no greater sorrow than to lose someone dear, but with every new tomor- row may we all find strength in prayer that will sustain us and give us understanding and peace of mind. God saw fit to call Tina, her mother, two sisters and nephew home on December 26, 1985. To dare, to take risks, to bear uncertainty, to endure tension — they are the es- sence of the play spirit which Tina possessed on the basketball floor. She was a genuine friend wjio showed love and com- passion to all with whom she came in contact. As the senior class turns toward memory lane, we will remember her thoughts, her smiles, her words, and her deeds. Our thoughts are echoed as a friend states, I don't understand why what happened had to be, but my last words to you are, rest peacefully. 7

r r Presiden t’s Message As graduation draws near, a smile can be seen on the faces of some Seniors, while others may be seen shedding tears. It is the realization that a long-tread path is about to end that evokes such emo- tional displays. The path has been a winding one for each Senior, progressing from valley to mountain and back again, all the while teetering between fire and a foreboding precipice. This path now seems, at long last, to be short and true, but lo and behold, as the path shortens, it steepens! So, as fate would have it, the climb has just begun. How we fare along the way will determine the unique quality that sets us apart and, hopefully, above all the others. We have an excellent start, how- ever, and we plan to succeed! May the future be bright for each of t . May God bless the class of '86, and may He keep watch over all our endeav- ors.
