Dedication As years, decades, and centuries pass, many types of people walk upon our earth. Every human being aspires to have the qualities of love, sincerity, and happiness, but few of us ever achieve this height. There is one person, however, who with her never-ending enthu- siasm has left an enduring impression in the minds and hearts of every student who has known her. _ Mrs. Stanely Richard, Jr., who has been teaching at Paris High School for fifteen years, has taught business math, accounting, shorthand, office practice, typing, and general bus- iness. For many years she has been the yearbook sponsor, each year striving for new ideas and always being successfully creative. She also serves as Junior Prom sponsor and through her guidance each one has been a memorable event. Mrs. Richard also is a Junior homeroom teacher. Her many philosophies and ideas toward the teaching profession are now touching the lives of other students because of her involvement in the student teaching program. Her effectiveness as a faculty member of Paris High School is a result of her desire to see each student become a productive citizen of his community. She has shown her full dedication to our school and so, with sincere appreciation, we, the Annual Staff of 1975 dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Richard. AND WENT ON TO TAKE THE 37th DISTRICT RUNNER-UP TROPHY Led by the devastating play of David Downey, the inexperienced Greyhounds mentally and physically whipped the highly talented and regional favorite, Bourbon County Colonels, in the district semi-finals. This game was a shocker to district and regional participants alike, because the Hounds had been beaten soundly twice during the year by their neighbors. Paris then went on to lose two heart breakers, one to a good Harrison County team in the district finals, and the other, a double overtime loss to Mason County in the re- gional tournament. Of course, the familiar sighs of re- lief can be heard, but then the thoughts of leaving friends, teachers, and those old familiar walls come sharply into focus. The time of departure comes and brings tears and memories of shared feelings—whether outwardly shown or inwardly hid- den. After graduation, some will seek further education or far away places; others will find jobs and family life, but no matter what road each will choose or doors each opens, the memory of years and friends at Paris High School will endure. The Senior Class of 1975
