Dedication The Senior Class of 1971 dedicates this yearbook to Mr. Thomas A. Siwicki, the music director of the Paris City Schools. Mr. Siwicki has been with the Paris City School system for eighteen years, during which he has brought recognition and fame to our school and community. He has toiled diligently for months in preparation for band trips to Florida, New York, and Canada where Paris music students have won awards as well as valuable experience in festivals and parades. Every year he has planned the Christmas Candlelight Program which has attracted hundreds of people as the heralding of the Christmas sea- son in our community. Ever thoughtful of the cultural development of the citizens of Paris and Bourbon County, Mr. Siwicki has brought in concerts by Marion Spellman, the Norman Luboff Choir, the Navy Band and the Louisville Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also produced locally twenty-six Lions Qub Dixieland Shows and the outstanding SOUTH PACIFIC in addition to the an- nual concerts of the Paris City Schools Band. His musicians have performed at civic club meetings, ballgames, circuses, parades, picnics, fairs, homes, hospitals-everywhere it has been possible to go. Our lives have been made richer by the talents and energies and concerns of Mr. Siwicki. As a small expression of apprecia- tion for a large contribution to our school, we dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Siwicki.
