Sponsor, Mrs. Kenney Roseberry President, Ronnie McMaine Secretary, Sandra Jordan Vice-President, Jimmy Lovell Treasurer, Suzy Davis The Paris Beta Club is Paris High School's honor and service organization. All members must have at least a 3. 2 standing and possess good character and leadership. This year the Beta Club really lived up to its motto Let us lead by serving others. Among many projects, the Beta Club helped support the Red Cross Blood Pro- gram, and the United Cerebral Palsy fund. It co-sponsored College Night with the Bourbon County Beta Club. The fall induction was held at Lynnwood Farm and the spring induction was held in the Paris High School Li- brary. The Beta Club also bought the sign for the front of the high school. Throughout the year, Beta Club stu- 24 dents won many honors for themselves and the school.

French and Spanish Clubs Sponsor, Miss Betsy Brooks Woodford The Romance languages add a great deal of culture and enthusiasm to the lives of those students who study French and Spanish. The sponsor of this club and also the instructor in these two classes, Miss Woodford, brightens each pupil’s day by her wide vocabulary and interest in the education of her students. The club consists of first and second year French and Spanish students. Their respective languages are al- ways meaningful to the members of the classes, even after they leave good ole’ Paris High.
