The 1956 Owl 1 From April, 1955, to April, 1956 Through the camera's eye we see our dreams come true as presented by The 1956 Owl. All of us have our own private aspirations, dreams, and hopes, but still we have some in common. These common dreams will represent in this forty-third edition of our yearbook our progress, school life, and notable activities. We have focused our camera eye upon the two hundred and forty pages of The 1956 Owl and pictured a year at Paris High School from April, 1955, to April, 1956. Will we ever forget last June when our baseball team brought home the State Schoolboy Championship Trophy? Summer was filled with summer school for some, slumber parties, swimming, and working. Studying in the classrooms, gaining experience, making the grade, and keeping our many traditions are all important phases of life at Paris High. We enioy putting our best foot forward. and living in the social whirl, too. Choosing our clubs and activities, backing our team from the sidelines, benches, and bleachers, and starring and participating in our big events and important productions are very much a part of our school life, too. Seniors, diplomas, and com- mencement give our school year the finishing touch. We have striven to pic- ture all of these dream-s come true in our book of memories, The 1956 Owl. When time has made the vivid scenes of school days grow dim, and years have almost erased from the mind those happy, eventful times, The 1956 Owl Staff invites you to take this volume from the shelf and recall, when turning the pages, this school year at Paris High School. The 1956 Owl Staff
