May, 1955 - 3 - PJC exchange students told of their homes and customs at the F.H.A. meeting. lO - National Honor Society entertained its grad- uating Seniors with a dinner at Gibraltar Hotel. 20-Junior-Senior Prom, a happy but sad occa- sion tor many PHS students. 24 - Last social gath- ering tor '55 Seniors was Senior-Faculty picnic at Lake Crook. 26-'55 Senior Class concluded its last assembly program with the singing ot Auld Lang Syne. 29 - The Commencement Sermon was given at First Methodist Church. Other events on the May, l955, calendar included '55 Owl Dedi- cation on the 23rd, exams, report cards, picnics, hay rides, checking in books, etc., and the Student Council wound up another busy year with a party.
