ygllvllfl, jim, fdzto-'L . 601 9? :- xk , NF 602, Elon, you jim, 7955 0wL! OWL'6 , Y Ollie Owl will be the symbol of school life in this forty-second volume of our yearbook. lt is fitting that he should lead you through this edition, since his name was chosen in l9l3 for the yearbook, to signify the wisdom of Paris High School's alumni, students, and teachers. The name and our yearbook have survived disaster, depres- sion, and War as a beacon to all associated with our school. As you turn the pages of this volume, you will get to know Ollie Owl other than as the name of our yearbook, because his activities and student life photography constitute the theme of The 1955 Owl. When you reach the Athletic section, you will find that Ollie Owl has persuaded Willie Wildcat to help guide you, since this section is nearest and dearest to Willie's heart. Willie Wildcat is an old friend whom we met in all his glory in l942. No yearbook for Paris High School would be complete without Willie, and because of this, Ollie will introduce the book to you, and Willie with our Alma Mater will complete our efforts. Ollie invites you to enjoy each page and relive the fun, fellow- ship, and achievements that made up this year at Paris High School. The book is far from perfection, but if it affords you pleasure and happy memories, we will have accomplished our purpose.
