In dividing this group into departments, We found cases Where their duties fell into several depart- ments. Three former students of PHS have returned this year to teach here. They are Miss Francenia Hicks, Mrs. Kelley Storey, and Mr. Tommy Duncan. To be a teacher requires more than a college degree. One must have not only knowledge and ability in his field but also the ability to present this information to minds that may be only pas- sively interested in the subject. Giving his students inspiration with constant patience and a sense of humor as well as an understanding of young people makes good teachers. We believe our faculty meets these high qualifications. In after years when we realize the influence and effect of these teachers upon us, we shall appreciate them ever more.
