SEPTEMBER Sept. 7-Freshmen and Sophomores register. Sept. 8 -Juniors and Seniors register. Sept 11 - School opens. OWL circulation begins. Sept. 13 -Back-to- school dance sponsored by the yell lead- ers. Sept. 15 -Kilgore defeats Paris 6-0 at Kilgore. Sept. 28 -Tri-Hi-Y Initiation. Sept. 29-Wildcats are de- feated in their first home game by Cor- sicana 26-O. Yell leaders give a dance at the gym after the game to honor the football boys. NOVEMBER Nov. 2 - Chemistry Club Wiener roast. Nov. 5 -Paris upsets Sherman 13-0. Yell leaders give a dance after the game. Nov. 9-OWL Staff had a Wiener roast for OWL sellers. Nov. 10 - Paris defeats Sulphur Springs 53-0. Nov. 16 -National Book Week. 1951 OWL Staff announced. Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y Western Day. Nov. 17-Drama Work- shop play, Our Town. Nov. 22- Thanksgiving holidays begin. Nov. 23 -Wildcats defeat Greenville 20-16. Nov. 27 -Back to school. Nov. 30 - Christmas parade. Anita King, Christ- mas Queen, and her escort, Jimmy King. Oct. 26 - Cheer leaders sponsor a bon- fire for the Denison game. Oct. 27 - Denison defeats Paris 25-12. DECEMBER Dec. 1 -Paris defeats Gainesville 20- 18 in last game.
