Editor's Note Should auld acquaintance be forgot And never be brought to mind, Should we in Paris High forget The days of Auld Lang Syne? IN Tl-lE above paraphrased lines lies the reason for editing this yearbook. We have striven solely to give you the best book ever, an imperishable record that will become more cherished by you with each passing year. We have chosen for the theme Our Album of Familiar Music as selected by the student body, believing that it would reflect the true spirit of our school as vve turned from the dark uncertain years of war. We felt that with the return of peace the students desired a theme ofa lighter vein. Endeavoring to capture and forever hold this spirit, we present the ten favorite songs of the students themselves. Although all songs ranked high, our all-school favorite, Stardust, was so unanimous that we felt it must be used frequently to best portray every phase of our school's activities. If sometime in future years when you are thumbing through the dusty pages of this the thirty-third volume of THE OWL, you recall to any extent your high school days, the many good times you had, and the happiness you shared, then our work and hopes will have been justified.
