Uui Dedication XVe of The 1911 Owl think it proper that our annual he dedicated to a typical example of American youth fto a hard-working group. VVe know and appreciate each and every one of these fine-spirited Americans. They have put every ounce of their energy into one planeto go onwa1'd, onward to that goal. They have dis- played that true American spirit by conquering what they were told they could never conquer. Their aim was reached by no certain one taking the credit hut hy all yvorking together for the comlnon good. Some might say it is insignificant, hut a mighty voice in return says, This is the way to thuild America and keep the ideals our country was founded upong these are learning what it means to pull as one toward a c.ommon goal. You say that it is just a game, hut, after all, isn't life just a game with those playing it fair and square 99 the winners? The voice just quoted has expressed the feeling of your staff after the remark- able achievement of these boysg therefore, we do dedicate this twenty-eighth vol- ume of The Owl to the true American spirit of teamwork and to the outstanding record of our 1910 NVildcats.
