Varsity Basketball, American History, and General Science cause Coach Fulk to live an exciting life at PHS. Air. Gibson awaits an explosion caused by Chemistry students in the Chemistry Lab. Need to know about World War I? Mr. Giesler, the old time American History teacher, knows all. M 'ss Gordon works along the side of Mrs. Doush with the EMH students. Coach Gosnell is kept happy and alive by Driver's Ed. and PE students. A new person in the Ag Department is Mr. Gray. Mrs. Hawkins, who is a new mother this year, can be seen teaching Computer and PE. A friendly Mr. Hornbrook instructs students in the fields of Agriculture. Mrs. Houghland teaches students in her Home Ec. classes to sew and cook, and she also teaches her Consumer Education students to understand a budget. Mrs. Johnson, who taught CWT, left at mid year to teach full time at Charleston High School and was replaced by Mrs. Keys. Freshman Health students are filled with information by instructor Mrs. Johnson. Would you like some help figuring out what classes to take or which college to attend? Ask Mr. Jones, our Guidance Counselor. Mr. Kirby keeps the Industrial Arts students intrigued in the mechanical world. Mrs. Kloker stresses the anatomy of the human body and other animals in Biology and Anatomy classes. English students keep Mrs. Lanker occupied with Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Julius Caesar. Are you sick? Go see Mrs. Lawton, the school nurse. Students in the Business Department are stimulated by Mr. Lockhart. Mrs. Lowe, new to PHS this year, teaches Business. Mr. Ludington keeps the Athletic Department running smoothly all year round. Mrs. Mchlabb is an enthusiastic aide for the Learning Disability students. Can you draw? Mrs. Helson can and so can many of her talented Art students. The Auto Mechanics students, taught by Mr. Ogle, hope to someday be the mechanics of the nation. a. Assisting Girl's Basketball Coach, Miss Pellum, is very proud of the varsity’s 19-2 record break ing season. Airs. Pfanz instructs English students on basic grammar rules. Besides teaching Business, Mr. Postlewait can also be seen coaching Freshman football. The smiling face of Air. Punzelt can easily be found in the gym with PE students or driving around town with Driver’s Ed. students. Air. Sabens is kept busy with Math students and tennis players as well as the city. The Chorus students sing wonderful melodies under the watchful eye of Airs. Sims. After traveling to Hawaii and directing the orchestra. Air. Sperry claims he “loves his band.’’ A veteran at Paris High, Mr. Staley teaches Industrial Arts. A new face at PHS is Airs. Templeton, who teaches in the Math Department. 10 print Air.
