PROPHECY Since 1964 did you know that: Beth and Doc Adams are now criticizing Chester's coffee on the TV series Gunsmoke. And Pat Allcorn is still pecking away at that old typewriter in Room 29—trying to get ARENA copy out on time. Also, Kay Arrasmith has recently established the Arra-smith Apple Polishing Factory in Siberia, While Gene Barkley is president of the U.S. Corn Growing, Picking, and Packing Plant with home office in Paris, Illinois. We hear Norma Barry has just won $50 for her blue ribbon gooseberries. It is rumored that Jim Barlet is swapping basketball plays between Kansas and Paris high schools. Melvin Bartlett was recently picked up for dropping light bulbs on the stage performers at the Metropolitan Opera House in No Man's Land. And John Beeson, telephone repairman, is doing well along that line. Wonderful to see—Pat Bell cutting ladies hair blindfolded and turning out original hair styles. Still cheering, marching, and playing for good old P.H.S. is Roberta Bell. Too, LaNee Benefiel's motto is a stitch in time saves nine, she is world famous for her fashion designs. Since Donna Benson has just invented hair rollers for bald women, she is having some trouble rounding up customers. Carolyn Berry is still in the dog house, since she did not turn in her activity sheet in fall of '63. Gale Bishop has taken up photography; she takes candid pictures of seniors who forgot. Martha Black? Well, she married Larry Brown and is just tickled pinkl Leslie Blair is still Blairing away on that old coronet. Famous—Jim Blanford—for his smile on Colgate TV commercials. And Mary Lou Boone has just found out that Daniel was her great—great—great—great! Tom Bowman is raking in millions of $$ as janitor at Fort Knox. World famous dancer of Rock n' Roll is Jeanette Breen. Richard Bright is the Bright star of space age. As a wheat farmer, Jerry Brinkerhoff is doing well in that field. As owner and president of the Brooks Bank, Eddie Brooks is doing well. Danny Brown? He is racing down Main—chasing reckless drivers. Our Nancy Brown was recently accepted as a member of the Tall Girls' Club in New York City. We are told that Steve Brown is president of the ex-Student Council Presidents' Club. Yes, Robert Bruce has become good friends with Bruce Roberts; they find they have much in common. Georganna Burgess is married and has George, Georgia, and Georgette to keep her occupied. Another dog house occupant is Pat Caldwell. Campbell? Leslie? He is teaching beginning water skiers to take off from the pier without getting wet —or caught? The Cash register rings for Charles Cash. Hop-a-Long is the new pet bunny (rabbit) belonging to Nancy Cassady. The Cavanaugh twins—Jackie and Pat—are still arguing about who is the oldest. Bill Cavins is still having major difficulty in trying to blow his whistle, keep in step, keep his tall black hat in place, and not fall backwards—all at the same time. Much disturbed is Blake Bill Cawthron because Illinois is so much smaller than Texas. Paul Cheatham has discovered how to make money, but cannot continue—until he gets OUT. Carolyn Clearwater tests the purity of drinking water —all over the world. Miss Fudge of 1970, Cathy Cline, is busy sending her product to a favorite customer in Seattle. it is no secret that Allen Collier is the manager of i chain of gymnases for run-down dogs. By working in the office at P.H.S., Cheryl Collier has made enough money to take that long anticipated trip to Scotland. Marc Cooper has decided—upon his death—to leave his brain to the Smithsonian Institute. As for Darrell Cornwell, hejs still running Cross-Country—following the hair. Ralph Creech recently married Thelma Screech, and they have four screeching Creeches. The Paris Bakery employs Linda Crum to make dough. Robin Cummins has finally taken flight. She has become an airline stewardess for TWA. David Cunningham invented a cure for girl-fever, but decided the cure is worse than the disease. As a switchboard operator, Marilee Cunningham frequently gets her wires crossed. Ann Curl has opened her own beauty salon—she's curling curls with Curls' Curling Curlers. A chain of Curls' Grocery Stores has been established by Phyllis Curl. Janet Daniell is all wrapped up in her work at the candy shop; she makes and wraps taffy. Lynette David is married to David David. Finally, Susie Deffenbaugh is fulfilling her role as t den mother—of eight motherless kittens. Bill Dennis is doing good; he is cooperating supervise? of a Salvation Army unit. And Jane DeWitt is still as 'Witty' as ever. Is it true that Terry Dieckhoff has gone 'off' the deep end? Making weather surveys for the U.S. government places Dianne Dillavou on cloud nine. Marcella Duzan is having the 'time' of her life; she is married to a Swiss clock-maker. We hear Mary Egan is really raising 'cane.' She is owner and manager of a sugar cane farm in Cuba Diane Egan has found the rainbow, but she hasn found the pot of gold. Who ever thought Ron Elam would be selling blue ice cream to the lovelorn. Babysitter Diane Eldredge sits with Big Babies. Of course, Brenda Elledge is teaching chemistry a’ U. of I. Sonia Evans, Miss Soda Fountain of 1966, has won i five-year's supply of Tutti-Frutti. AJe are told that Janice Fairchild is married and nov has three 'fair children.' Fredi Fazio still cannot be 'fazed,' but can be 'billed. Jim Feutz, finalist in the National Merit Scholarship test, has just made the world's greatest discovery-if you take six green apples away from ten gree-apples, you have four green apples—and a stomad ache. Recently, Barb Fields received the Nobel Prize for he newly published book Life with Caesar. The monkeys in the St. Louis Zoo are fortunate tc have Wilma Fletcher for their nurse. At long last, Camille Foley has been promoted tc chief cook and bottle washer at Slifer's Root Bee Stand. Ernie Fowler? Yes, he is still interested in cooc hunting—out of season. The popular new singing star, Connie Francis, is fre quently asked by her many fans, 'Haven't I hearc of you somewhere before?'
