Mary Avery is a bona fide New Yorker—working at Sachs, 5th Avenue. Steve Barrett is Secretary of Agriculture in the President’s cabinet. Gary Beasley, Fuller Brush salesman, is in the hospital with a broken toe. Jerry Bess is the first man to be an active N. L. pitcher and president, too. Janet Booker became entangled in a social problem; she hasn’t been the same. Ruth Bowen is a personnel director for Quaker Oats Company.
