Kiermas 5 6 Ability Surprises Director Jim Rusch, choral director said, I was very apprehensive about the chorus when school started in the fall but so far they have ex- ceeded my expectations. He also stated that the upperclassmen led the chorus and helped the new- comers enhance the balance of the group. The chorus made their debut at the annual Veterans Day assem- bly. They sang Battle Hymn of the Republic and were accompa- nied by Mrs. Sanderson. 7 Highlighting the year was the Winter Concert. Songs sung were Gloria in Excelsis Deo , “Angels We Have Heard on High , Fran- kie and Johnny , I Don't Know How to Love Him , Little Altar Boy and Christmas is a Feeling. The night was brought to life by the singing of The Twelve (Mod- ern) Days of Christmas. In March fifteen members of the chorus attended Solo-Ensemble which was hosted by Fall River. As the school year drew to a close the chorus prepared for the Spring Concert and graduation day. Chorus 25
