When the final class competition had ended at the Homecoming Pep Rally, the Juniors claimed a narrow victory over the Seniors. The Juniors won on the strength of wins at the noon hour games and the Bulldog games. Meanwhile, the Seniors dominated the dress-up counts. Dress-up days included hat, sunglasses, and t-shirt day, nerd day, and hippie day as well as the traditional dress up and blue and gold days. Thursday brought the Bulldog games and with it the tennis shoe hunt and egg toss. Following the contests was a bonfire and spirited snake dance through town. Going into Friday's pep rally, the com- petition was close. Highlights were the air guitar contest and skits. The Junior skit Johnny Carson” clinched the week's title for their class. 12 7.
