1980 HOMECOMING COURT — Karla Deakin, Darrel Kuhl, Joanne Hawley, Jim Taylor, Queen Sherri Jacobson, King Dan Houk, Wendy Neef, Rick Lang, Linda Elle, Mark Peterson, HOMECOMING Homecoming this year was unlike those ol past years. Although the class competition was still there, the school spirit was going stronger than ever could have been wished for. Each day was a special dress-up day. Monday was hat and crazy sock day, Tues- day, bathrobe and slipper day; Wednesday, dress-up day; Thursday, nerd day; and Fri- day, blue and gold day. There were also many new Homecoming games in which students could participate. It was a busy week full of fun for everyone. After the week's activity, points were totaled; The Seniors took first place having just a narrow lead over the second place sophomores. Friday night was a perfect fall evening for a victory. Pardeeville won the game against Rio with a final score of 21-6. Homecoming week ended with the tradi- tional Homecoming dance. The gym was de- corated in the Autumn colors of brown, orange and yellow — setting the scene for the theme of: All Out of Love . Music was provided by Mandrella. Homecoming 1980 was a very memorable event. 26
