Griepentrpg, D Rohde; Mr. Knutson, Coach The Bulldog grapplers took to the mats this year under the direction of Mr. Ron Knutson. After losing their first opener to Lodi by a close margin of points, the young Bulldogs became more serious about the sport and worked hard to beat Cambria and Montello but lost to a tough Westfield and Rio team. Pardeeville went into the Holiday tourna- ment and emerged with two senior champions —Ron Griepentrog in the 119 lbs. division and Dean Mulkey at 185. Two other seniors, Pat Standiford claimed 3rd place, and Don Caten- ccci claimed fourth after losing a close match in overtime.

Hayes, B Tolley. 1975 PARDEE VILLE CROSS COUNTRY The Pardeeville Cross Country season start- ed out with a disappointing team turn out in numbers barely filling a varsity squad of 3 with 6 members. In triangular meet competi- tion, the team totaled 5 wins and 4 losses. The conference meet hosted by Pardeeville at Portage Golf Course was a true cross country challenge, with varied terrain of hills and fair- ways. Pardeeville matched the challenge with a surprise upset over Markesan and took a strong third place with Westfield running away with the individual and team titles.
