DEDICATION We dedicate this annual to Nick Maier, who for the past three years has kept our school neat. We take this way of thanking him for the great job that he has done to make us proud of our school. The Class of 1959. THANKS We would like to thank Mr. Koerner and Mrs. Lenz for all the help they have given us as our advisors for the past year. We also thank Mr. Russell for the guidance and help he has given us. The Class of 1959. CLASS HISTORY The Class of '59 started together in the fall of '55. It took us awhile to get acquainted with the BIG world of High School. Our officers were as follows: Lanny Cross, president; Doris Grueneberg, vice president; Johnny Smith, secretary; and John Balzer, treasurer. Homecoming Court: Ray Roundy, Harriet Patchin. Advisors: Mr. Richard Davis, Mrs. Eleanor Steichen. Sophomore class officers were: Larry Manthey, president; Donald Jerred, vice president; Mary Webster, secretary; and Linda Wilde, treasurer. In the Homecoming Parade, we won first prize with Glow Pardee Glow. Homecoming Court: John Balzer, Catherine Wardle. Student Council: Larry Manthey, Janice Payne. Advisors: Mr. Richard Davis, Miss Marjorie Glass. We really did shine as Juniors. Officers were: John Balzer, president; Russell Figor, vice president; Carolyn James, secretary; and Doris Grueneberg, treasurer. Homecoming float was We'll Trim 'Em. Court: Carolyn James, Johnny Smith. Our Junior Prom, April Love, was a big success. King, John Balzer; Queen, Catherine Wardle. Student Council: Beverly Ullrich, Donald Jerred. Advisors: Mr’. Richard Davis, Mrs. Mary Landgraf. The Senior officers are: Donald Jerred, president; Johnny Smith, vice president; Janice Barden, secretary; and Carl Herrington, treasurer. This year the class is divided in home rooms and the ad- visors are Mr. Robert Koerner and Mrs. June Lenz. Student Council: Donald Jerred, Jeanette Herold. Homecoming Court: Stuart Price, Beverly Ullrich. We had two floats. We're Expecting A Victory, and You'll Wonder Where Randolph Went When We Brush Them With Pardee-dent. The latter won first prize. King and Queen: Larry Manthey, Carolyn James. We put on the first annual Winter Ball. King, Donald Jerred, Queen, Linda Wilde. We went to Chicago for our class trip.
