GUu Wdl We, the Seniors of 1956, being of sound mind and body, do hereby make this our last will and testament. After undergoing the trials of school life: mainly studying, riding chilly school buses, listening to dull lectures, and being sent to the office for nothing at all we believe It Is our solemn duty to pass all these things on to the underclassmen. To the Juniors we bequeath our ability to win the Queen contest. To the Sophomores our ability to earn money and have a large treasury. To the present Freshmen we leave our brains, beauty, brawn, and best behavior; they certainly need them. To the Incoming Freshmen we leave our most prized possessions, our trusty advisors, Mrs. Lenz and Mr. Bussell. ELEANOR ANDREWS wills Mr. Wheelock peace and quiet In Social Problems. GIgM. PnofUtecy Something real exciting must he happening over there. All the seniors except me are huddled around something. I'm going to find out what Is going on. Why It's Tinker Bell!! She's telling them what they will be do- ing ten years from now. Guess I'll listen In. Connie Atkinson has Just received the honor of School Teacher of the Year . Guess where she teaches? Annapolis Naval Academy, naturally. Our old classmate, Earl Ashley, Is one of her devoted pupils. It seems he won a scholarship to the Academy for his book The Art of Walking an Board Ship. Glen Barden now lives In Florida. He Is running a resort down there for girl tourists only. He must have quite a gay old time. Let's see what Gale Berg Is doing. Oh yes, she lives In Alaska. Her house Is the most stylish for miles around. Seems Marvin had a brain-storm after a snowstorm and built her a large Igloo. A wedding anniversary celebration Is In full swing. The honored guests are Betty Bortz and her husband. Her husband presented Betty with a small remembrance-----a mink coat. Betty's twenty-five room mansion Is fabulous, with Its army of maids, marble stairways, and mahogany furniture. Chet Bradley Is the new heart throb of teenage girls all over the country. Bight now he Is In the process of choosing a leading lady for his latest movie, Heartbeat. Says Chet's director, We have a terrible time finding a leading lady for him; no actress ever suits him twice!!! Same old Chet. Merlin Calhoon has taken over his father's variety store. On the side, he has a world famous button collection. Seems he has a button from the clothing of all famous persons, Including Marilyn Monroe. Announcing the reknown weight-lifter, Gary Cross. Gary married the circus fat-lady, whom he met when he first Joined up with Barnum and Bailey. There are rumors that he keeps In practice by carrying her around!II! The new country store located halfway between Pardeevllle and Wyocena, belongs to Tom Cross. Business Is booming and the gossips have It that some of his competition Is going bankrupt. The lifeguard at Salt Lake Is Karel Gibson. She has the Job of sav- ing the male swimmers. As yet she hasn't got her bathing suit wet. Instead of coming to swim, all the men come to look at her. Karen Gibson stayed right here In Pardeevllle. The local merchants have Just elected her Housewife of the Year. They say her house Is spot- less and that she doesn't even own a can-opener. Our young farmer,Robert Orlepentrog, has gained fame by winning a con- test at the county fair for The Tallest Farmer In Columbia County. His farm Is ultra-modern. He runs all activities by a push-button panel In one corner of his wife's kitchen. A recent graduate of a famous art school Is Laverne Hawley. His spec- iality Is color, especially red. His latest Job Is painting Robert Orlepentrog's barn. Wisconsin recently elected It's first woman governor, Joanne Hepler. There Is talk of running her for President of the U.S. next election year. Ronald Johnson Is a famous Jet ace. He has shot down a hundred planes In combat, an all time high. The girls all flock after him, but Ronnie says, I'm waiting for a good cook that can fill me up.
