After undergoing the trials of school life: mainly studying, riding chilly school buses, listening to dull lectures, and being sent to the office for nothing at all we believe It Is our solemn duty to pass all these things on to the underclassmen. To the Juniors we bequeath our ability to win the Queen contest. To the Sophomores our ability to earn money and have a large treasury. To the present Freshmen we leave our brains, beauty, brawn, and best behavior; they certainly need them. To the Incoming Freshmen we leave our most prized possessions, our trusty advisors, Mrs. Lenz and Mr. Bussell. ELEANOR ANDREWS wills Mr. Wheelock peace and quiet In Social Problems. May he be another Shakespeare. KAREN GIBSON leaves her Job as librarian to her successor. May she do as good a Job as Karen did. ROBERT GRIEPENTHOO wills his place In Ag. to Roger Price. You'll have to grow quite a few Inches to fill It as well as Bob did. LAVERNE HAWLEY leaves his ability to do the least amount of work pos- sible and still get passing grades to Gary Herreman. We know Gary will appreciate this gift. JOANNE HEPLER wills her many trips to Portage to Diana Beahm who seems to have stacked up quite a number herself. RONALD JOHNSON leaves his devilish manner to Elaine Jenkins and end- less task of pestering people to Kermlt Hutzler. ALICE KITCHEN bestows her many successful hunting trips to next year's hopefuls. LARRY LYNCH bequeaths his reservoir of knowledge acquired during the past four years to his sister Lucille. KAY PAYNE says her sister Janice can take over her hot-lunch Job, but to be careful and not make any mistakes. Remember that, Janicell!! PHILIP PETERSON wills his chair In chemistry and geometry to anyone who Is foolish enough to want It. Don't say you weren't warned. 11 KAY POETEE leaves her office Job to next year's office girl. PnofUtecy Something real exciting must he happening over there. All the seniors except me are huddled around something. I'm going to find out what Is going on. Why It's Tinker Bell!! She's telling them what they will be do- ing ten years from now. Guess I'll listen In. Connie Atkinson has Just received the honor of School Teacher of the Year . Guess where she teaches? Annapolis Naval Academy, naturally. Our old classmate, Earl Ashley, Is one of her devoted pupils. It seems he won a scholarship to the Academy for his book The Art of Walking an Board Ship. Glen Barden now lives In Florida. He Is running a resort down there for girl tourists only. He must have quite a gay old time. Let's see what Gale Berg Is doing. Oh yes, she lives In Alaska. Her house Is the most stylish for miles around. Seems Marvin had a brain-storm after a snowstorm and built her a large Igloo. A wedding anniversary celebration Is In full swing. The honored guests are Betty Bortz and her husband. Her husband presented Betty with a small remembrance-----a mink coat. Betty's twenty-five room mansion Is fabulous, with Its army of maids, marble stairways, and mahogany furniture. Chet Bradley Is the new heart throb of teenage girls all over the country. Bight now he Is In the process of choosing a leading lady for his latest movie, Heartbeat. Says Chet's director, We have a terrible time finding a leading lady for him; no actress ever suits him twice!!! Same old Chet. Merlin Calhoon has taken over his father's variety store. On the side, he has a world famous button collection. Seems he has a button from the clothing of all famous persons, Including Marilyn Monroe. Announcing the reknown weight-lifter, Gary Cross. Gary married the circus fat-lady, whom he met when he first Joined up with Barnum and Bailey. There are rumors that he keeps In practice by carrying her around!II! The new country store located halfway between Pardeevllle and Wyocena, belongs to Tom Cross. Business Is booming and the gossips have It that some of his competition Is going bankrupt. The lifeguard at Salt Lake Is Karel Gibson. She has the Job of sav- ing the male swimmers. As yet she hasn't got her bathing suit wet. Instead of coming to swim, all the men come to look at her. Karen Gibson stayed right here In Pardeevllle. The local merchants have Just elected her Housewife of the Year. They say her house Is spot- less and that she doesn't even own a can-opener. Our young farmer,Robert Orlepentrog, has gained fame by winning a con- test at the county fair for The Tallest Farmer In Columbia County. His farm Is ultra-modern. He runs all activities by a push-button panel In one corner of his wife's kitchen. A recent graduate of a famous art school Is Laverne Hawley. His spec- iality Is color, especially red. His latest Job Is painting Robert Orlepentrog's barn. Wisconsin recently elected It's first woman governor, Joanne Hepler. There Is talk of running her for President of the U.S. next election year. Ronald Johnson Is a famous Jet ace. He has shot down a hundred planes In combat, an all time high. The girls all flock after him, but Ronnie says, I'm waiting for a good cook that can fill me up. Better look else- where girls; no one can fill that stomach. Page Sponsored By TUNISON IMPLEMENT AND SUPPLY CO. Oliver The Finest In Farm Machinery L. Tunlson, Prop.—Phone 39 There was a recent explosion In a laboratory at the Mayo Clinic. Alice Kitchen, a medical technician there, was the only one Injured. She hasn't changed one bit. We all know that the hospital seems to be her permanent address. Anyone writing her a letter should Just send It to the hospital. If she Isn't there she soon will be. Larry Lynch Is a well known architect. He designs all manner of buildings. The project he Is working on now, Is Robert's chicken coop. Kay Payne, Is a radio announcer. They have designed a super-magnlfler mike for her. Her voice Is heard every morning, discussing the latest farm market report. Well, Imagine that 111 One day two children stopped and watched the monkeys at the Bronx Zoo. The kids couldn't figure out what new kind of monkey the Zoo had, so they Just threw It some peanuts and walked on. The new monkey was Philip Peterson, new zookeeper, cleaning out the monkey cage. Irene Pogue has achieved her aim In life. She Is a private nurse, rolling In money. Everytlme one of her male patients dies he wills her part of his estate. Irene has decided to start taking only female patients because her money bln Is full. lone Pogue Is one of Betty Bortz's army of maids. lone Is Just like all the other maids Betty has; except that she Is forever getting lost In Betty's big house. Once she wandered around for three days before she found her way out. Extra! Extra! Bead all about It. Kay Porter finds uranium.Kay has been prospecting In the Black Hills In all her spare time. Finally she struck It rich. No more trips Into the hills for her burro. Marilyn Boblnson Is busy raising Yahnkes for the Yahnke ballteam. Three more to go and we'll have a whole team Is Manager Roger's comment. Joanne Ryan rode Into office along with Joanne Hepler. Joanne Is Lieutenant Oovernor. It's a hard Job watching the governor to see that her stocking seams are straight. The Fuller Brush Company only employs one salesman now, Charles Scharf. The company says their sales have Increased by using Chuck. Guess his experience bringing In money for the Queen Contest really paid off. Clay Stebbins was the first pioneer settler on the moon. He now lives on Mare. Clay reminds us of a present day Daniel Boone. When his planet gets too crowded he hops Into his rocket-ship and moves to a new unexplored one. One of our classmates has made television her career. Sally Stoll oonducts the program, How to Cook. Recently though she had an embarras- sing experience. She burned the cake she was demonstrating. Bonnie Thomas Is helping Tom with the bookwork at their new store. Lately though she has been too busy to help much. You see they have new twins, Bonnie and Tom, Jr. The Pardeevllle Bakery Is run by John Url. His specialty Is doughnuts and very good ones they are. Betty Wendt Is a popular recording artist. Her records are heard every night over the Old Timer's Jamboree. We never guessed that Betty's singing could become so widespread. The man In the tan Army suit Is Larry Thompson. He made the army his career. He has been stationed In many states. At the present he Is sta- tioned In Paris. It seems that he knows every girl between here and Paris real well. Lawrence Wendt runs a caterpillar. He earns plenty of money but doesn't keep It long; you see he has finally settled down and had ten children. The Milwaukee Braves have a new manager, Terry Yeazel.
