The theme was Tara from Gone With the Wind . The gym was transformed into an old southern mansion with clever decorations. The color scheme was green and white. Jerry Billington's orchestra furnished the music. The Queen, Gale Berg, was crowned by the King Clay Stebbins before the Grand March. Left to rlPht: Duane Berger, Merlin Calhoon, Frank Stockwell, Terry Klelst, King-Gary Cross, Queen-Bonnle Thomas, Audrey Hllflker, Kay Webster, Shirley Okan, Marjorie Wing The Pardeeville High School Homecoming began Thursday night, October 7th, with a bonfire and snake dance. The Homecoming festivities were highlighted by the crowning of the Queen during the half of the football game Friday afternoon, October 8th. Bonnie Thomas representing the Junior class was chosen queen of the Homecoming and Gary Cross was chosen King. Other members of the court were Marjorie Wing and Duane Berger, representing the Senior class. Shirley Okan was chosen by the football team as their representative, and was escorted by the Junior class representative, Merlin Calhoon. Representing the Sophomore class was Audrey Hilfiker, escorted by Terry Kleist. Representing the Freshmen class was Kay Webster, escorted by Frank Stockwell. Friday evening at 9:00 the gym was the scene of the Homecoming dance.
