THE WHISPER The Golden Anniversary of Pardeeville High School is being celebrated by the graduating class of 1954. In 1903-04 Pardeeville built its first high school. It was a frame structure of two stories. Both elementary and high school were held in this building. As the school grew, new courses were added and the attic and basement were utilized as classrooms. In 1923, a brick building of two stories was erected and the high school moved into this building. On April 12, 1950, a disastrous blaze destroyed the building. For a year and a half classes were held in the City Library, Legion Hall, and the Frederick Building. Tn January, 1952, we moved into the new building, built on the site of the old school. The gym was finished later that year.
