Look at the huge crowd gathered at Daddy1s Furniture Store. Wonder what it'3 all about. Well, it's Warren S.-------and his job ia teating out beda. We had a hunch he'd get a aoft jobi We hear the proprietor ia a very reputable one too, it'a none other than Clifton Finger. Today ia a clearance aale on midget bedai Jana Warnke and Flora G. muat have gotten together on thia thing. Both are happily married and raiaing a family. They're in the proceaa of writing a book on married life called Helpful Hints for Hubby. (Of courae no one can forget that talented ainging of Nancy1a) The acene, Metropolitan Opera Houae, New York. Tonight a lovely young lady will make her opening appearance, the curtain riaea, and there in the middle of the atage a beautiful, talented atar of the future atanda. Our cameras move silently back taking in all the beauty, all the elegance of the acene. But there in one corner of the acene ia the image of a lone- ly, depressed aoul in an ushers uniform. Why it's none other than Nancy K. herself. She is working her way up alow but sure. And now we have a surprise. Bob Heaps ia happily married to Marilyn Monroe. It always was nothing but the beat for him. Kay Thomas and Arlene Hepler are busy teaching school. We didn't think they could keep away from books very long. The scene changes. Deep jungles, long vinea and bushy grasses away gently in a warm tropical breeze. Suddenly the alienee ia broken by the horrifying scream of a bull elephant. He charges, straight at a small party of hunters. At the last minute an arrow alams into hia skull at a vital point. The beast drops dead] In the background we see Wild Bill Johnson, a big game hunter, calmly looking over the dead animal and ex- plaining to hia friends Just how the shot was executed. Next, we see a quiet little houae In a little village. Above the door hangs a sign: Music lessons, Reasonable. And look who the teacher is, none other than Margaret Larsen. She is giving lessons to the great metro- politan concert pianist, Wanda Rohrbeck. Loanne McDonald James , is the name flashing on and off on the mar- quee of the Chicago Theatre----she really is a sensation as she plays the newest hit tunes on her fabulous instrument, the Trum-pappy . Our trans-atlantic television cables now swiftly bring Into focus Paris, France. Our cameras grasp the scene immediately, translating to our screens a French nation-wide beauty contest. The girls are competing for the title, The Only Girl That Could Make The Rhine River Run Backwards. And the judge is none other than Dean Franklin Milton. He, by the way, has made this his life's profession. It's a tense moment folks, there is Eldon Pulver, recognized as the world's pro. golf champ. He carefully takes aim and sinks a long one from 30 feet out to win the tournament. He now calls his caddy, turns, steps to his waiting Cadillac and speeds off. Now that caddy looked familiar , come to think of it now, it was none other than Jerry Reardon. And who do we see next but Betty Schultz and Doug. Smith, who are driving teenagers crazy about them with their fine duet singing. They are both living in Hollywood now. Helen Smith is seen at home doing housework. Her husband In the back- ground isn't too clear, but he slightly resembles a senior of 1950. As we have the weekly roller derby on T.V., we see the girls really are rough tonight. Hmi They sure are going to town, especially that one. Say, she looks familiar. It's none other than Fern W. We always knew she liked roller skating, but not to this extreme] Another classmate Is sure rolling in dough. Make Helen Smith bequeaths unto Karen Roundy her twirling ability, good use of It, Karen! Jean Smith leaves her ability to master the school books to all the bookworms of P.K.S. Kay Thomas leaves her curly, black hair to Don Graack. May he make it a cherished possession. Jana Warnke wills her cheery smile to next years gloomy Freshmen. Fern Wing bequeaths her enthusiasm for roller skating to all hopeful amateurs. May you roll through your school years as smoothly as Fern did. She just got her promotion and is head nurse at the Mayo Clinic. We just caught her in time folks. There is Joyce looking over the new super-sonic space ship. It is claimed that this new-fangled contrap- tion will make a round trip to Mars at an average speed of 70 million M.P.H. Now don’t get excited folks, Joyce just came down to say good-by to her husband who will be leaving immediately. She wouldn’t think of flying in that thing. On her last trip to the moon you know, she got tooclose to one of those moon men and caught that rare, mysterious disease, Maddining Moon- its. We now see Iona and John R., happily married. Right now Iona is do- ing the family bookkeeping. She keeps count of all the income and expenses of their little farm. And I’ll be darned if there aren’t a couple of little debits and credits playing with their blocks in the kitchen. You see that scene now on your screens is from the new movie Cross Beats the Double Cross. And that wild cowgirl in the center Is the star, Hop-A-Long Cross alias our old classmate, Vaneece. We now see Jean Smith portraying her dancing talent as an instructor at Arthur Murray’s in New York City. One of Jean’s former classmates, Betty Lou Ebert, has Just arrived for her second rhumba lesson. Betty’s husband is a lumber tycoon and so Betty has nothing to do but spend money.
