Gl U Will We the Senior Class of 1953, being of sound mind and body, do hereby make this our last will and testament. A score less than eight years ago, we unfortunates entered this worthy Institution wholely unprepared for the massive tasks that lay ahead of us.' Since that dismal day of Sept. 8, 1941 we have been Jilted, robbed, pushed, kicked, and literally dragged through 12 long years of hard labor. We fortunate survivors, however, have managed to collect in some odd form something we hold dear to our hearts and will never forget. We now endeavor to pass these treasures on to the lowly under-classmen. Harry Atkinson happily bequeaths his speed, endurance, and go-getting stamina to Rita Zerble, and knows she will make good use of It. Juanita Atkinson wills her hot lunch job to Ronald Johnson--who s do- ing pretty good for a beginner. May you keep it up faithfully for the next three years. To the present Junior girls Joyce Brandsma leaves all her old boy- friends. Don’t fight over them girls, there should be enough to go around. Iona Brewer says her lawyer is out of town on business, you know, the fellow from Endeavor, and she refuses to make a statement until his return. Vaneece Cross says she hasn’t anything to leave except Dick and she wants to hang on to him for awhile. Betty Lou E. leaves her quiet and friendly manner to Donald Van Swol. Clifton P. wills his ability to sleep in class to Clark W. and his athletic technique to Dick Lueptow. Flora G. leaves all her stationery and pen to anyone that needs it during school hours. Just be careful so you don’t get caught writing letters. Nancy Hatcher leaves her position at Badger Girl’s State to this years lucky girl. Bob Heaps wills his ability to stay thin to the girls of P.H.S. Arlene Hepler wills her quick learning abilities to Robert Griepentrog and hopes he will be valedictorian of his class. Bill Johnson generously leaves his ability to do nothing to the little man who wasn’t there. Margaret Larsen bequeaths her musical talent to Kenny Ereneman. May he some day be great. Lou Ann McDonald-.............-...................she will just leave. Dean Milton generously leaves his dear old 1936 Dodge to next years cheerleaders so that tney may have a float of their own in the annual foot- ball home-coming parade. Drive carefully girls.» Eldon Pulver bequeaths his artistic talent to Dick-Reardon. May he become another credit to the many generations of master painters. Don’t be too happy about your inheritance, Dick, these fellows usually don’t be come famous until after their death. Jerry Reardon gives his ability to get along with teachers to Harry Geisler who should really appreciate this gift. Your worries are over Harry. Wanda Rohrbeck bequeaths her annual editor work to Pat Toppe. May they have a good annual next year. Betty Schultz bequeaths her quiet ways to Janet Morgan. We hope she makes the best use of them. Warren S. bequeaths his speed and ambition to Norbert G. who can stand some leading the band. OH YES--and Marilyn? During the week Mr. Altenburg has an extra job looking after her. (The week-ends are taken care of.) Douglas Smith leaves his way with the women to Larry Lynch. What a romeo he will become! 14 Page Sponsored By ROSE WHITEY WERNER
